Session title: Exploring Growth Opportunities in Pet Care: 2025 and Beyond

Session description: As declining birth rates reshape the demographic landscape in Asia Pacific, pet ownership is on the rise, with pets increasingly regarded as “fur babies” that require care and nurturing. Behaviours typically observed in the human space are being extended towards pets, symbolizing a growing trend of hyper-humanization. This shift presents unique opportunities for brands as pet owners seek more sophisticated products to enhance their pets’ well-being.

This presentation will delve into the evolving pet care landscape, where purchase decisions are driven by functional benefits, emotional value, and experiential elements. We will explore how new consumption occasions are emerging, as owners increasingly include their pets in events, celebrations, and shared experiences. Join us as we explore growth opportunities in different aspects of pet care.
