Session description: Despite rising cocoa commodity prices, the global outlook for chocolate remains bright. Short-term volume challenges are generally offset by continued strength in value sales and a continued willingness from consumers to spend on products they enjoy. There is also a growing interest in innovative approaches and compelling new products. This presentation will offer a review of the global chocolate market in 2024, analysing opportunities and challenges of today to understand how companies can gain a competitive advantage in future.
