Session descriptions:
  1. Influencers, from social media stars to rappers or actors, increasingly back or create FMCG brands. Many enjoy instantaneous success, while others fade away. Success is powered by the influence of social media and driven by the technological savvy of younger generation consumers looking to identify with brands differently compared with their older generation cohorts. Through Euromonitor's new Innovation tool, I will show why some brands succeed while others fail quickly, and how emerging consumer trends are shaping the future of FMCG brands.
  2. The plant-based trend has faced a number of challenges in the last years on its way to growth. This session gives an update on the state of the plant-based dairy as well as meat and fish substitutes. From emerging product launches and brands, to the environmental concerns that shape consumption patterns in these categories.
  3. This presentation highlights recent developments in the pet care industry related to current consumer concerns.
