Rasa's work has a focus on sustainability and innovation, particularly the objective of food waste reduction, optimising manufacturing side streams. These considerations are increasingly important when assessing trends in the food markets that form the core of her research specialism. Rasa has broad experience in research. Her journey at Euromonitor started with an industrial focus, analysing energy, chemical, agricultural, and food and beverage manufacturing data. In 2017, she moved to focus on drinks and tobacco research, before specialising in food and nutrition staring from 2022.
