Increasingly, consumers in the United Arab Emirates are pursuing clean labels and organic products that contain minimal processing and no additives. Health-conscious consumers are drawn to products that are free from artificial preservatives and flavourings, as well as raw nuts and organic nuts.
Demand for nuts through the foodservice channel is expected to continue growing over the forecast period, supported by rising tourism and a penchant for dining out among the local population. However, retail faces a challenge since fresh nuts are perceived by some consumers as less convenient compared to processed and packaged options.
