For example, Dos Pinos launched a lactose-free option to cater to consumers with lactose intolerance or dietary preferences with Delactomy Naranja Holandesa and then Automercado’s private label brand, Selección Auto also began offering Helado Deslactosado, which is also lactose-free.
The trend where ice cream flavours are being inspired by other foods, such as chocolate or sugar confectionery, cereals or alcoholic drinks will continue to evolve. Examples of this trend include Helados Sensacion Yipy, which draws inspiration from chocolate and sugar confectionery flavours, and Dos Pinos Duo Fresa Milan, which combines strawberry and chocolate.
