Over the forecast period, the vending channel has considerable room for growth as it remains underdeveloped compared to other countries. For instance, opportunities for expansion are anticipated in public transportation spots and due to greater urban developments within the country, notably within intermediate cities.
The growing concern for health and well-being will lead many vending operators to include healthier options in their machines, such as fruits, low-calorie snacks and sugar-free drinks. This trend is aligned with the demands of today's consumers, who are looking for more balanced options even when they resort to quick solutions such as vending.
Smart vending technology is emerging as a key growth driver for vending retailers. Channel leaders have explored AI (ChatGPT) options for future vending designs through their social media.
