As more consumers embrace cooking at home, the demand for cooking oils is expected to remain robust.
With the growing emphasis on health and wellness continuing to shape edible oils in Thailand, and consumers striving to balance health benefits and affordability, alternative oils such as grapeseed oil and sunflower oil are gaining traction as perceived healthier substitutes for traditional vegetable oils. As more consumers prioritise a balanced, health-conscious diet, they are paying closer attention to the nutritional content of the oils they use, favouring those rich in omega-3 fatty acids, unsaturated fats, and antioxidants.

As local consumers grow more eco-conscious, manufacturers and retailers will face increasing pressure to adopt sustainable practices across product development and packaging.
