The on-trade market has been strongly impacted by the Israel-Hamas War. The length and magnitude of the war will continue to have a big impact on the beer market during the forecast period.
Prices are expected to continue rising in the market in the forecast period. The uncertainty in the economic situation is likely to play an important role in pushing up prices.
While non-alcoholic beer is still a very niche market locally, the trend is slowly growing on the back of rising consumer health awareness. Beer
An alcoholic drink usually brewed from malt, sugar, hops and water and fermented with yeast. Some beers are made by fermenting a cereal, especially barley, and therefore not flavoured by hops. Alcohol content for beer is varied – anything up to and over 14% ABV (alcohol by volume), although 3.5% to 5% is most common. Beer is the aggregation of lager, dark beer, stout and non/low alcohol beer.
