As part of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 strategy the Kingdom plans to attract over 100 million visitors by 2030 which ensure that juice sees steady and stable growth in on- and off-trade volume terms over the forecast period. Along with religious tourism, public and private sector entities in Saudi Arabia are also working to boost leisure tourism as part of plans to diversify the Kingdom’s economy.
Given the growing focus on health and wellness in Saudi Arabia it is likely that companies will continue to focus on developing a wider range of healthier and tastier juice products. These are likely to include products with no added sugar, lower calories, more enticing flavours and ingredients, organic options, as well as products which use more attractive and more sustainable packaging.
The number of fuel stations in Saudi Arabia is growing rapidly with the Kingdom investing heavily in new infrastructure projects, which could result in a rise in sales of juice through forecourt retailers. These fuel stations are increasingly focusing on developing their services and shopping facilities, with many now offering EV charging, vehicle care service, foodservice, and forecourt retailers, as well as ATM services and more.

Juice
This category covers all still packaged juice obtained from fruits or vegetables by mechanical processes, reconstituted or fresh, often including pulp or fruit/vegetable puree. All unpackaged juices are excluded. Only still drinks are included here. Carbonated varieties are included non-cola carbonates. Juice-flavoured milk drinks and fruit shakes which are primarily milk are excluded–these are instead tracked in Packaged Foods Dairy. However, if the juice component is greater, the product is to be excluded from Packaged Foods Dairy coverage and tracked under the relevant category (based on % juice content) within Soft Drinks juice. This sector is the aggregation of 100% juice, nectars (25-99% juice content), juice drinks (up to 24% juice content), and coconut & other plant waters.
